Sumedh Mathad

Sumedh Mathad is a Senior Staff SOC Power Architecture/Modelling Engineer at AMD, with a robust background in Application Specific Integrated Circuit Design. With a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from PES Institute of Technology, Sumedh possesses expertise in Verilog, C, Perl, C++, and Java. Previously, Sumedh contributed to AMD as an ASIC/Layout Design Engineer, where they led power modeling and performed critical checks on SOC designs. Their early experiences included internships at Forbes Marshall and ABB, where they gained hands-on knowledge in power electronic systems and SCADA software.
