Tom Satter

Tom Satter is an accomplished software development professional with extensive experience in managing engineering teams and software projects. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Software Development at AMD since March 2022, Tom oversees a team focused on the device model and design rule checks for hardware integration. Prior to this role, Tom worked at Xilinx for over a decade, holding positions including Software Development Manager and Sr. Staff Software Engineer, where responsibilities included managing device models and coding in C++. Tom also has experience in education as a science and math teacher, entrepreneurship as the owner of PureCode Computing, and software development roles at various tech companies. Tom holds a Master's in Education from Regis University and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wyoming.
