Wen Chen

Wen Chen is a Principal Member of Technical Staff at AMD, with expertise in machine learning frameworks within the AI Software Group since September 2021. Prior to this role, Wen Chen served at NXP Semiconductors from December 2015 to August 2021, initially as a Principal EDA Software Engineer and subsequently as a Senior Principal EDA Software Engineer, focusing on design enablement for safe and secure SoCs in automotive and edge computing. Wen Chen's earlier experience includes positions at Freescale Semiconductor and a graduate research assistantship at UC Santa Barbara, where research concentrated on data mining techniques for verification and validation. Wen Chen holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, an M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Zhejiang University.
