Niras C. Vayalil has been working in the engineering field since 2008. In 2008, they began working as an R&D Engineer at Craysol Technologies in India. Niras was responsible for software development for embedded systems, as well as developing analog and digital hardware interfaces. In 2014, they joined Macquarie University as a Research Engineer, Postdoctoral Associate, where they worked on diffuse optical tomography for breast cancer prescreening. Niras also worked as an Electronics Lab Instructor and Tutor and conducted research in video processing algorithms for the HEVC standard. In 2018, they joined UNSW as an Electronics System Engineer. In 2021, they moved to ANJ Industries International, where they continued to work as an Electronics System Engineer. Currently, they are working as an FPGA Engineer at Advanced Navigation.
Niras C. Vayalil completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Engineering/VLSI from Macquarie University between 2014 and 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Technology in VLSI and Embedded Systems from Cochin University of Science and Technology between 2009 and 2011.
