Jackie Peterson

Jackie Peterson, PHR has extensive work experience in human resources. Jackie started their career at Cargill in 2007, where they served as an HR intern and backup for HR Coordinator. At Cargill, their responsibilities included payroll processing, FMLA management, and HR file management. Jackie also organized and developed a new hire process to improve sourcing and increase engagement.

Jackie then worked as an Associate HR Generalist, partnering with the site HR Generalist to learn and train in the generalist position. Jackie supported approximately 500 employees, conducting investigations, assisting with employee relations, compensation, and orientation and onboarding.

After that, Jackie served as an HR Generalist at Cargill, providing support for approximately 200 union and nonunion employees. Jackie assisted in labor relations, investigations, grievances, and negotiation preparation. Jackie also played an active role in the start-up of the Fort Dodge facility and was a member of the leadership team.

Later, Jackie became a Client HR Manager at Cargill, where they led HR processes for engagement, compensation, and talent. Jackie also handled operational workforce planning and partnered with business managers to meet talent needs.

In 2016, Jackie joined Bluestem Brands, Inc. as an HR Director. Jackie served as a change agent, thought leader, and trusted business partner during a company turnaround strategy. Their focus was on organizational design and development, consulting leaders on people strategies and talent retention plans.

At Bluestem Brands, Jackie also worked as a Senior Human Resources Manager and HR Manager, where they served as a strategic partner for various functions including Technology, Finance/Accounting, eCommerce, Sourcing/QA, and Customer Engagement. Jackie facilitated workforce planning and reorganization efforts to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Most recently, Jackie joined Advanced Process Technologies Inc. as a Human Resources Director in 2020.

Jackie Peterson, PHR, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they hold certifications such as the SHRM - CP obtained from SHRM in August 2015 and the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
