Eric van Tol

Eric Van Tol is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as CTO at Advanced Programs Europe BV since August 2015 and Director at Floridata since December 2014, Eric has played a pivotal role in developing innovative solutions in the data platform for the wholesale flower and plant trade. Previous positions include being a member of the Economic Board Utrecht from January 2015 to January 2022, and Director of the Big Data expert center at Fontys University of Applied Sciences from October 2013 to January 2022. Eric also contributed to the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs as a driving force for the Big Data breakthrough project from September 2013 to September 2016. Other notable roles include directorships at Indatables, Andarr, and Ordina, as well as experience as a network solutions manager at NCR. Eric holds a Drs degree in Physics from Utrecht University, completed between 1981 and 1986.
