Patrick Miga

Astrodynamics & Satellite Navigation Engineer at Advanced Space

Patrick Miga is an Astrodynamics Engineer and Solutions Architect at Advanced Space, leading the Cislunar SDA IRAD project since May 2022. Miga has extensive experience in astrodynamics and mission design, demonstrated through roles such as operating the CAPSTONE spacecraft and contributing to technical proposals. Previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, where Miga led lectures on interplanetary mission design and conducted research on observability in the cislunar regime. Miga has held internships at The Aerospace Corporation, focusing on astrodynamics tools and satellite tracking scenarios, and has contributed to various space systems engineering projects. Miga's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
