David Goodwin brings over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications and IT industry to his role as managing partner and co-founder at ATC. He oversees all aspects of the business, bringing unmatched integrity, service, and attention to detail into every client and provider relationship. His commitment to excellence has earned the firm honors for ethical business practices, rapid growth, and outstanding customer service.

In addition to driving results for ATC clients, Goodwin is committed to contributing to the IT industry, giving back to the community and mentoring on many levels. He was chosen among a select group of industry executives to serve on the inaugural PHONE+ Advisory Board and was instrumental in a collaborative effort to formalize TCA’s Code of Ethics for agents in the telecom industry.

Leveraging his expertise and strong industry relationships, Goodwin drives client results with respect to the total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI) in four main areas: UCaaS and CCaaS, data networks, cloud technology and cybersecurity. His success supports the firm’s exceptionally high client-retention rate.

Prior to co-founding ATC, Goodwin gained significant experience and established lasting relationships with service providers during his decade-long tenure at Cable & Wireless. Consistently finishing in the top three in annual new sales (among over 300 national reps), he successfully maintained the largest customer base in the general business division. He was distinguished by his ability to professionally service his book of business.

Before joining Cable & Wireless, Goodwin was a pitcher in the Chicago Cubs organization. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH, where he earned various academic and athletic awards and scholarships and is an active alumnus.

On a local level, Goodwin is an involved member of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and its CEO Roundtable program. He is a frequent contributor in local newspapers and publications on a host of telecom- and IT-related topics. He also served a three-year term on the Heritage Club Board of Trustees and coached several years of select baseball in the Greater Cincinnati area. He is married, has three children, and resides in Mason, OH.
