Aimee Horsfall has a diversified work experience. Aimee is currently working as a Senior Research Associate at AdvanCell Isotopes Pty Ltd since June 2023. Prior to this, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of Auckland from April 2021 to May 2023. Aimee also worked as a Writer for Chembites, focusing on translating and writing chemistry journals from October 2019 to January 2023. Aimee has a strong academic background, having completed a PhD in Chemistry titled "Approaches to study protein interactions" at the University of Adelaide and the Centre for Nanoscale BioPhotonics. Aimee also held various roles during their time at the University of Adelaide, including being a PhD candidate, Sciences Alumni Network Committee Member, Chemistry Workshop Leader, Chemistry Practical Demonstrator, and Student Outreach Ambassador. Aimee also served as a Researcher and PhD Candidate at the Centre for Nanoscale BioPhotonics, where they focused on defining helical secondary structure in short peptides. Aimee participated in the MedTech Industry Mentoring Program as a mentee for a year starting from July 2019. Before their academic career, Aimee worked as a Swimming Instructor, teaching students of various age groups and levels. Additionally, they were an Instructor In Charge at the Royal Life Saving Society South Australia and worked as a Receptionist and Sales Assistant at Music Alive! School Of Music. Overall, they bring valuable research experience, academic achievements, and a diverse skill set to their current role as a Senior Research Associate.

Aimee Horsfall began their education at Loxton High School from 2007 to 2011, where they completed their South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE). Following this, they enrolled at the University of Adelaide from 2012 to 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with a focus on Chemistry. Aimee continued their academic journey at the same university and obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Chemistry from 2015 to 2017. Aimee further advanced their studies at the University of Adelaide and pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemistry from 2017 to 2021. Aimee's education history highlights their dedication to the field of Chemistry and their commitment to advancing their knowledge and expertise in the subject.
