Daniel Kasabov is an experienced software engineer with a background in backend development, DevOps, and systems research. Currently, Daniel serves as a Software Engineering Intern at IMC Trading, focusing on FPGA projects, and is set to join Citadel as an Incoming Software Engineering Intern in Fall 2024. Daniel has held a leadership role as Director of the Texas Undergraduate Computational Finance organization since January 2023. Previous internships include a Systems Research Intern position at Arm, where Daniel researched memory latency impacts in HPC applications, and a DevOps Engineer role at RStudio PBC, where Daniel improved CI/CD pipelines. Other experience includes backend development at Kronologic and kickit, successfully implementing various efficiency improvements. Daniel is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, following a year at Texas A&M University.
