Mark Cheek

Mark Cheek is the Lead Chemist at AdvanSix LLC, where they leverage 40 years of experience in the chemical industry. Previously, they held roles such as Senior Analytical Chemist and Senior Supervisor of Chemistry Lab at Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies, and a Rigid Foam Systems R&D Chemist at E. R. Carpenter Company. Mark served as a Forward Air Controller in the United States Air Force and has developed expertise in laboratory instrumentation, ISO certification, and continuous improvement methodologies. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the Virginia Military Institute and completed postgraduate studies at Virginia Commonwealth University.
