Jim Thoma

Jim Thoma's work experience begins in 2002, where they started as a Warranty Manager at K. Hovnanian Homes. Jim then worked as a Construction Manager at Standard Pacific Homes from 2006 to 2009 before transitioning to the role of Hyphen System Administrator/Estimator until 2013. After that, they joined Ashton Woods Homes as an NSO Estimator for a year. From 2014 to 2016, Jim worked as a Purchasing Manager at M/I Home, Inc. Following that, they had various roles at Paul Davis Restoration, from being a Large Loss Project Manager at the company's Northern Metroplex/Park Cities branch to serving as the Vice President of Contents at Paul Davis Restoration of North Dallas. Their most recent role is as the General Manager at AdvantaClean of Greater Dallas, and as of 2023, they hold the position of Vice President of Operations at AdvantaClean.

Jim Thoma has a diverse education history with a range of certifications in various fields. In 2022, they received a Mold Remediation Contractor degree from Gebco, specializing in mold. The previous year, in 2021, they obtained a Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration certification from the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification).

Continuing backwards, in 2020, Jim completed a certification in Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning from the IICRC. Jim also achieved an Emergency Recovery Certification in Fire Loss Recovery from Paul Davis University in 2018.

Prior to these certifications, Jim earned a Web/Multimedia Management and Webmaster Certificate from The Career Center in 2000-2001. Jim holds an Associate of Arts (AA) in Business/Commerce, General from North Lake College, which they obtained between 1989 and 1991.

Additionally, Jim has obtained other certifications, including a Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration certification from the IICRC in May 2020, and a Certified Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning certification from the IICRC in February 2020. Jim is also a Certified Mold Remediator, although they did not specify when or where they obtained this certification.
