Jonah Adkins

Jonah Adkins is a seasoned education professional with a diverse background spanning over a decade in various roles. Currently serving as a School Safety Consultant at Advantage Technology since January 2025, Jonah previously held multiple positions within the West Virginia Department of Education, including Director of the Office of PreK-12 Academic Support and Coordinator for both the Offices of Accountability and Leadership Support from October 2018 to January 2025. Prior to this, Jonah was Director of Curriculum, Technology, and Assessment as well as Principal at Guyan Valley Middle School in the Lincoln County School District from September 2011 to October 2018. Jonah's career began in the same district as a Teacher of the Gifted and later as an Assistant Principal. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Education Leadership from Salem University and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from Marshall University.
