Alan Cherney

Alan Cherney is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in web application development, particularly with C#, ASP.NET MVC, and AngularJS, acquired through a tenure at AdvantageCS from September 2005 to the present. Additionally, Alan has a background in desktop application development and Orchard CMS. As a portrait artist from August 2010 to July 2019, Alan specialized in creating graphite portraits from photographs. Prior experience includes graphic design for Alan Cherney Graphic Design, where skills in Photoshop and Illustrator were applied to develop website mock-ups and logo designs. Alan also completed software development internships at Ilium Software and AdvantageCS, focusing on database management and user interface development. Alan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
