Christa Z.

Christa Z. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Christa began their career as an HIV Public Health Intern at Planned Parenthood of Nassau County, Inc. in 2008, where they gained experience in counseling and data collection for HIV testing. From 2008 to 2012, Christa worked as a Web Designer at MedNet Technologies, designing SEO-optimized marketing websites for healthcare professionals. In 2013, they briefly served as an Interactive Developer at ALM Media, LLC.

In 2012, Christa joined Cognitive Digital as a UX/Front-End Developer and stayed with the company until 2018. During this time, they contributed to the development of user experience and front-end elements. Christa then joined the University of California, San Francisco in 2018 as a UI Developer, where they are currently employed.

In 2010, Christa began their freelance work as a Professional Photo Retoucher, specializing in wedding and portrait retouching in Lightroom and Photoshop. Christa also created layouts for print wedding albums. In 2019, they joined Advantages as a Web Designer/Developer.

Christa Z. obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology & Public Health from Adelphi University, where they studied from 2008 to 2010.
