Darren McMichael

Darren McMichael has extensive work experience in the field of hosting services and technical operations. Darren is currently serving as the Managing Director of Product Hosting at Advantasure. Prior to this, they worked at Ceridian for several years, where they held various roles including Strategic Technical Advisor Principal and VP of Cloud Hosting. In these roles, they oversaw technical operations, production monitoring and incident response, and provided key engineering direction. Darren also led the global Cloud Hosting organization and played a significant role in supporting the growth of Dayforce customer base. Before Ceridian, Darren worked at RedPrairie as the Director of Hosting Services, where they managed a team responsible for networking, infrastructure, and database administration. Darren also worked at Radiant Systems as a Senior Manager of Hosting Services and at Hoteltools, Inc. as the Director of Network Services. Earlier in their career, they held positions at marchFIRST, USWeb/CKS, and The Network Connection, where they gained expertise in infrastructure design, implementation, and network administration.

Darren McMichael attended the University of Florida from 1990 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Decision and Information Sciences. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications from Microsoft. In 2022, they obtained the following certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (twice), Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (twice), and Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
