Alvaro Romo

Alvaro Romo currently serves as the Managing Director for Mexico and LATAM at Advantech, a position held since July 2020. Previously, Alvaro held roles at Interlatin, including Director Of Operations, where responsibilities involved developing strategies for KPI improvement across multidisciplined teams in manufacturing and R&D markets. Additional experience includes serving as North Mexico Test Manager, managing engineering resources for New Product Introduction in various industries. Prior positions include Test Development Engineer at Honeywell and Field Engineer at National Instruments México, focused on test systems and automation for the consumer electronics and automotive sectors. Alvaro holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey and advanced degrees in Business Administration and Management from Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez.
