Anderson Lin

Anderson Lin is a seasoned software R&D manager with extensive experience in leading teams and developing innovative solutions in the field of IoT and video analytics. At Advantech since November 2015, Anderson manages software R&D teams across Taipei and Kunshan, focusing on retail IoT solutions, video analytic algorithms, and business analytic platforms on Azure cloud. Prior roles include senior managerial positions at ADE Technology and project management at Creative Sensor Inc., where Anderson designed industrial IoT solutions and developed analytics platforms. Earlier experience also includes leading R&D teams at Genius Vision Digital to produce video management systems and functioning as a senior software engineer at Utechzone. Anderson holds a Ph.D. candidate status in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Cheng Kung University, complemented by a master’s and bachelor's degree in the same field and computer science, respectively. Additionally, Anderson served as a university lecturer, teaching various computer science subjects.
