Darryl Gebert

Darryl Gebert has had a long and varied career in technology, starting in 1996 as a Designer Developer and Instructor at ObjectSpace Inc. Darryl then moved to Valtech as a Senior Consultant in 1999. In 2002, they became a Senior Technical Specialist at Countrywide Mortgages, followed by a Principal Applications Engineer role at Oracle (formerly Agile, formerly Prodika) in 2007. In 2008, they became a Principal Practice Consultant at EMC, then a Lead Software Engineer at MedAssets in 2009. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Solutions Architect at AmerisourceBergen. In 2017, they became a Cloud Solutions Architect at GWN Solutions LLC, and in 2018 they became the Technical Architect and first tech hire at Sapience Analytics. Most recently, in 2022 they became a Solutions Architect at Advent eModal.

Darryl Gebert has a BSc. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Campion College at the University of Regina. Darryl is also currently pursuing additional certifications in Cloud Native Twelve-Factor Applications, Software Architecture: Domain-Driven Design, and Software Architecture: From Developer to Architect from LinkedIn, which they are expected to obtain in November 2022.
