Simon Kerry

Simon joined Advent in 2017 and brings over 20 years of senior leadership experience from life-science companies in the UK and mainland Europe. Simon was most recently the CEO of Karus Therapeutics, where he took the company from start-up to clinical development. Prior to Karus, Simon led the Business Development team at Ablynx, securing key partnering agreements during a critical stage of the company’s development. Before Ablynx, Simon was responsible for Business Development at the Active Biotech group of companies and was a founding director of Active spin-out Isogenica.

Simon started his career as a medicinal chemist, gaining a PhD from Loughborough University. He also secured an Executive MBA from Loughborough University Business School.

Simon is working with a number of Advent portfolio companies.
