Brenna Smith started their work experience as an intern at ForKids, Inc. in 2010. Brenna then became a student lead at Syracuse University, working with Student Centers & Programming Services until 2013. In the same year, they interned at the Mower Agency in their Insights & Planning department. Brenna also worked as a steamboat scholar at the Steamboat Foundation in 2012. Brenna then had a short-term role as an account planner at The Martin Agency in the same year. In 2013, they joined Viacom as an analyst and later became a senior analyst in the Strategic Insights & Research department. In 2015, Brenna worked as a research manager in the Sales Development team at Insider, Inc. Brenna then moved to theSkimm in 2017, initially holding the position of Consumer Insights Skimm'r in the Growth & Analytics team, and later became the Senior Consumer Insights Manager for Product & Design. In 2021, Brenna worked as a research consultant, and in 2023, they joined Advertiser Perceptions as a Senior Director in Business Intelligence Operations.
Brenna Smith obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Dual Degree in Advertising and Marketing Management from Syracuse University, graduating in 2013.
