Susan Wheeler

Susan (Susie) Wheeler is an accomplished advisor and investor with extensive experience in strategic operations and finance across various industries. Currently advising small to mid-cap businesses since July 2017, Wheeler previously served as Chief Operating Officer at The Shade Store from 2019 to 2022, where responsibilities included scaling retail operations and improving financial performance. Prior to that, Wheeler held the position of Vice President of Finance and Strategy at Walmart/Sam's Club, driving enterprise-wide strategies for a $60B organization. Additional roles include Managing Director at Element Six Ventures with the De Beers Group, where Wheeler achieved significant investment returns, and Vice President of Strategy and M&A for Boart Longyear, completing multiple acquisitions and driving revenue growth prior to an IPO. Wheeler's early career includes a pivotal role as Principal at Bain & Company, providing strategic counsel to senior leadership teams.
