John Lance

John Lance has a diverse work experience in the field of UX design and management. John most recently worked at Advisor360°, starting in 2019, where they held multiple roles including Lead UX Strategist and UX Manager. Prior to that, they were a freelance UX Designer and also worked at Commonwealth Financial Network as a UX Design Lead. Earlier in their career, they worked at Cogito Corp as a UX Lead, IDEMIA as a Senior Product Design Manager, and IBM in various positions, including Senior UX Manager. John also has experience in human factors engineering, technical writing, and documentation. John Lance has extensive experience in leading and managing UX teams, conducting user research, defining project scopes, and implementing agile practices.

John Lance completed their education with a Master's degree in Human Factors and Information Design from Bentley University in the years 2001-2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1989-1993. In addition to their formal education, John has also obtained certifications including the Applied Data Science Program from MIT Professional Education and the Google Analytics Certification from Google, which they acquired in February 2020.
