William A Cooper

William A. Cooper, MD, MBA, is the Medical Director of Cardiovascular Surgery at Reston Hospital Center and the founder of multiple healthcare consulting and staffing organizations. With over 26 years of service in the United States Army Reserve, William completed three tours of duty in support of the Global War on Terrorism, co-developing a trauma registry during service in Afghanistan. Previously, William was the Founding Medical Director of Cardiovascular Surgery at WellStar Health System, where they led initiatives that resulted in significant improvements in patient care and safety. William holds an MBA in Healthcare from Emory University and has received numerous national awards for excellence in cardiac care.
