An independent advocacy organisation based in Edinburgh, dedicated to empowering individuals with mental health challenges and those affected by problematic substance use.  
Services Offered:

1. Community based Advocacy: Supporting individuals experiencing mental health issues, assisting them in understanding their options, expressing their needs, and participating in decisions that affect their lives.

2.Statutory Advocacy: For all individuals who are subject to The Mental Health Care and Treatment, Adults With Incapacity or Adult Protection Acts. 

3.Problematic Substance Use Advocacy - individual advocacy service for those dealing with substance use issues, whether they are in recovery, actively using, or not engaged in recovery. Supports people in understanding their rights and options, and in communicating their needs to service providers. 

4.Prison Advocacy - individual advocacy for residents of HMP Edinburgh, assisting them in understanding their rights, preparing for meetings such as Internal Complaints Committees and Parole Board hearings, and ensuring their voices are heard in decisions affecting their lives.

5. Benefits and Welfare Reform Advocacy - independent advocacy support to individuals with mental health conditions or problematic substance use navigating Scottish Social Security entitlements and DWP benefits. The service aids people in understanding their rights and engaging effectively with benefit agencies.

6. Community Outreach and Drop-ins- regular drop-in sessions across various community locations in Edinburgh, providing accessible advocacy support to individuals who may find it challenging to attend appointments at the main office.
