Steven van Zyl has been working in the IT industry for over 20 years. Steven started their career at Murray & Roberts in 1997 as an Information Technology Executive. Steven was responsible for repositioning the value of IT at the corporate head office and across the 33 operating entities within the group. Steven left Murray & Roberts in 2006 to join Advtech as their CIO. Steven has been with Advtech for over 10 years and has helped them grow into one of the leading IT companies in South Africa.
Steven van Zyl's educational career includes earning a BCOM in Finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, a Diploma in Commercial Administration from the Commercial Administration training program (CATS), and Matric from Parktown Boys.
Steven van Zyl reports to Roy Douglas, Group CEO & Executive Director. They are on a team with Vongani Mbhokota - Properties Executive, Siza Majola - Group HR Executive, and Lenn Honey - CEO, Resourcing Division.
