Felipe Taboada's work experience begins in 2010 when they started their first job as a Java Developer at KSI Soluções. Felipe worked with Java EE standards while maintaining an ERP system based on JBoss with a Swing client.
In 2011, Felipe joined CELK Sistemas as a Java Developer. Felipe worked with various Java EE standards like JPA, EJB, and JMS using JBoss. Felipe also migrated a Netbeans based project to Maven and led a team in selecting and executing the migration of an existing desktop based client to web using Wicket.
In 2013, Felipe joined Laboratório Bridge as a Full Stack Engineer. Felipe worked with different stacks on multiple projects, including JBoss + Proprietary view framework, JBoss + Vaadin, and Spring Boot + React. Felipe took on the role of tech lead/lead developer for a public health software project in Brazil. Felipe also researched and evaluated new technologies, discussed potential improvements with the team, and made recommendations based on specific project needs.
Most recently, in 2020, Felipe started working at Agency Enterprise Studio as a Full Stack Engineer. Felipe has worked with various languages and tech stacks like Rails, Node/React, Kotlin/Spring, and Django. Felipe contributed to the development and scaling of ElectricSMS before it was sold. Currently, Felipe serves as a tech advisor, focused on creating better structures to support projects and increase project success.
Felipe Taboada obtained their Bachelor's degree in Sistemas de Informação from ESUCRI - Escola Superior de Criciúma in 2012. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Ciência da Computação from Universidade do Extremo Sul Catarinense, spanning from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from The Developers Conference in the areas of Cloud Computing and Java in 2012, as well as in the areas of Arquitetura and Java in 2011.
