Jared Turner

Jared Turner is a Principal Data Scientist at Atalan since November 2024, previously serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Preston Ventures where innovative survival models were developed utilizing health records and novel algorithms. Prior experience includes a Data Scientist role at AE Studio, creating machine learning solutions for diverse business challenges, and a tenure at Ochsner Health System where multiple predictive models were integrated into Epic EMR. Earlier positions include a Machine Learning Intern at iO and Center Director at Mathnasium of Clear Lake, where team development and student engagement in mathematics were prioritized. Jared Turner holds a Master's degree in Statistics and Data Science and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Houston.
