Gertjan Vanlook

Gertjan Vanlook is a Senior Consultant at AE since September 2018, specializing in data science and machine learning projects, presales, and client engagement management. Gertjan currently serves as an AI Strategist for VEB, developing an AI strategy in collaboration with the management team across all departments. Previous roles include Machine Learning Engineer at Nike's European Logistic Center, where Gertjan contributed to capacity insights in the EMEA supply chain, and Lead Data Scientist at Customaite, focusing on automating customs declaration processes. Gertjan has also held positions as a Data Scientist at GS1 Belgium & Luxembourg and Kellogg Company, along with early career experience as a Data Analyst and intern at Yools. Gertjan holds a Master of Science in Applied Computer Science from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a Master of Science in Economics from KU Leuven, among other academic credentials.
