Katie Liu, EIT, is an Engineer in Training currently employed at AE2S since June 2023. Previously, Katie worked as a Student Trainee at the U.S. DOT Volpe National Transportation Systems Center from May 2022 to March 2023, where responsibilities included modeling emissions benefits, analyzing cost-effectiveness for transportation projects, and preparing technical reports for federal agencies. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at The Pickering Lab at Tufts University, where Katie reviewed survey data related to water chlorination in Kenya, and as an Environmental Technician for the Washington State Department of Ecology, educating business owners on hazardous waste regulations. Additional experience involves teaching coding to middle school students at Coding With Kids. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Tufts University, attained in 2023.
