Ada Marmion

Ada Marmion has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and organizations. Ada is currently the Director of Partnerships Knowledge and Impact at AECF, a position they started in September 2022. Prior to this, Ada founded and directed Resilient 54, an organization focused on supporting African economies in transitioning to regenerative and circular economies. Ada also worked with Climate-KIC, where they held roles such as Circular Economy Team Lead, Just Transformation Lead, and Re-Industrialise Flagship Programme Manager. Ada's previous experience includes being a Business Development Manager at Energy 4 Impact and working as a Sustainable Energy Finance and Programme Manager as a freelance consultant. Ada has also worked at the Frankfurt School / UNEP Collaborating Centre for Climate & Sustainable Energy Finance, OECD - Sahel and West Africa Club, International Energy Agency, Zoom Out, and Green Alliance in various roles related to renewable energy, policy analysis, journalism, and sustainability.

Ada Marmion has an extensive education history with a focus on finance and sustainable development. In 2004, they completed their bachelor's degree in International Affairs at Sciences Po. Ada then pursued further education in 2008, earning a master's degree in Environment & Development from King's College London. During their studies, they also had the opportunity to study abroad as an exchange student at the University of California, Berkeley, where they focused on Political Ecology.

Ada continued to expand their expertise in finance by completing a Certified Expert in Microfinance program at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in 2013. The following year, they obtained further specialization in project finance for sustainable energy through the Certified Expert in Project finance for sustainable energy program, also at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.

Their latest educational achievement was in 2021, when they enrolled in the Climate adaptation finance e-learning program at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, focusing specifically on climate finance.

In addition to their formal education, Ada Marmion holds the certification of Climate and Sustainable Energy Finance Expert from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. The specific year and month of obtaining this certification are not provided.
