Andre Pienaar is currently a Technical Manager at AEL Intelligent Blasting and has served as Chief Technologist at both AEL Mining Services and Blasting Investigations and Consultancy since 2006. With a strong background in the explosives industry, Pienaar previously held the position of Chief Scientist at Armscor from 1997 to 2007, and worked at African Explosives Ltd as Chief Technologist from 2006 to 2014. Pienaar is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry at the University of Pretoria and a Master of Business Administration at the University of South Africa.
