Sean Wright

Sean Wright has over 19 years of work experience in the power industry. Sean started their career in 2002 as a Lead Superintendent at Kiewit Power Constructors Co. In 2010, they joined Associated Electric Cooperative Inc. as a Senior Engineer, and later served as a Supervisor of Engineering and Manager of EH&S. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as the Manager of Technical Services, and then became the Managing Director of Engineering & Construction until 2023. Currently, they are the Vice President of Construction at Associated Electric Cooperative Inc., where they oversee the development, engineering, and construction of new generation resources.

Sean Wright obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia between 1997 and 2001. Sean later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance at Missouri State University from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, they completed the High Potential Leadership Program at Harvard Business School in 2014.
