Carmen Abela

Carmen Abela is the founder and Managing Director of WindReach Consulting Services Inc., with over 20 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, and public administration. Carmen served as the Interim Chief Risk Officer at the Bank of Canada and has held various board positions, including Chair of the Board Directors at the Royal Ottawa Foundation and member of the AECL Board. Carmen's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Carleton University and a Chartered Director designation from The Director's College. They are also recognized for their roles as a seasoned advisor to government organizations and a corporate director specializing in governance and risk management.
