Jason Cameron serves as the Vice President of Indigenous and Stakeholder Relations at AECL, where responsibilities include leading Indigenous Reconciliation initiatives and overseeing government, international, and stakeholder relations. Prior to their current role, Jason held various positions at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission for over two decades, including Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Chief Communications Officer, where Jason directed policy, communications, and regulatory functions. Jason's earlier roles at CNSC included Director General of Strategic Planning and Chief of Staff to the President, focusing on planning processes and strategic advice. Jason's career began with an internship as an Information Officer at the World Nuclear Association. Jason holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the same institution, along with ongoing education through the Queen's Executive Program.
