Alistair Affoo

Alistair Affoo is a chartered engineer and Principal Electrical Engineer at AECOM, specializing in electrical systems design within the rail and power sectors. They have held various roles, including Senior Electrical Engineer at AECOM, and previously worked as an Electrical Engineer at Lee Young and Partners and McNicholas, where they developed expertise in low, medium, and high voltage designs. Alistair also gained experience during a Surface Engineering internship at BHP Billiton and as an Electrical Engineer for the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure. They are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy and Power Systems Management at City, University of London, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of the West Indies.
