Aliya Curran

Aliya Curran, EIT, is a Water Resources Engineer at AECOM since June 2022, previously holding the position of Engineering Co-Op III focused on environmental engineering. Aliya has actively participated in the Tau Beta Pi Association, an engineering honors society, from April 2021 to May 2023. At the University of Delaware, Aliya served as a Blue Hen Ambassador Tour Guide from February 2021 to January 2023, showcasing the university to prospective students. Aliya also gained experience as a Lifeguard at the YMCA of Delaware and Elk's Swim Club, overseeing safety and facility operations. Furthermore, Aliya contributed as an Undergraduate Research Fellow in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, assisting in pivotal research involving wastewater treatment, and worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in chemistry, supporting students' learning through workshops. Aliya holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from the University of Delaware, completed in 2023.
