Andre du Plessis has extensive experience in the water systems sector, including roles as Technical Director and Associate Director at AECOM from May 2022 to July 2024. Prior to this, Andre served as Senior Engineering Technologist with the City Council of Centurion from September 1996 to October 2008. Between January 2019 and April 2022, Andre was a Principal Associate and Team Lead in the Water and Sanitation Division at GladAfrica Consulting Engineers, as well as holding several leadership positions within that division. Andre also worked at JG Afrika (Pty) Ltd from July 2011 to December 2017 as Associate and Manager of Municipal Infrastructure. Academic credentials include a degree in Civil Engineering & Water Care and a prior degree in Civil Engineering, both from Tshwane University of Technology.
