Andrew Arant has extensive experience in environmental science and geographic information systems (GIS). Most recently, Andrew Arant has been serving as a GIS Specialist III at AECOM since January 2023, following a role as a GIS Technician II at Pike Engineering from January 2018 to January 2023. Prior to this, Andrew Arant worked as a Surf Program Instructor for UNCW Marine Quest in 2017, focusing on environmental education. Andrew Arant also gained valuable experience as a Lifeguard at Kure Beach Ocean Rescue from May 2015 to September 2018 and as a Summer Intern at Fort Fisher Recreation Area, where engagement in a shore bird management project provided hands-on conservation experience. Andrew Arant holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science with a concentration in conservation from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, completed between 2014 and 2017.
