Andrew Pearson

Andrew Pearson has extensive experience in the rail industry, having held significant managerial positions at prominent companies. At Ricardo Rail, from November 2008 to May 2018, Andrew served as General Manager, overseeing operational activities for a team of over 140 personnel focused on consultancy and assurance services in the UK. Subsequently, at AECOM, Andrew was appointed as Head of Rail Asset Management and later as Head of Rail Asset Advisory, leading initiatives in geotechnical investigations and asset performance analysis. Andrew's earlier career at Atkins, spanning from 1990 to 2008, included the role of Operations Manager in the Rail Vehicles division, where Andrew guided a multidisciplined team in technical solutions and safety support. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, awarded with first-class honors from Heriot-Watt University.
