Andy Nishida is a Senior Engineer and Project Manager currently semi-retired from AECOM's Mid-Atlantic Air Quality Team, focusing on air regulatory compliance. They began their career as a Civil Engineer for the City of Alameda and later worked as an Environmental Engineer at Shive-Hattery. Nishida has been with AECOM since 1991, navigating a series of corporate transitions, and will become fully retired later in 2025. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering Technology from the University of Iowa.
