Angelo Leonforte

Angelo Leonforte is the Group Director for Resources and Industry in Australia at AECOM, where they lead operations encompassing the Queensland and Northern Territory region as well as an underground mining centre of excellence. With 35 years of experience in engineering and project management, Angelo has a strong background in mining, smelting, and heavy industry, specializing in both greenfield and brownfield projects. They hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from The University of Queensland and have held various leadership roles at AECOM since 1987, guiding teams through the complete project lifecycle.
