Antony Makin

Antony Makin is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in the water services industry, both in Australia and internationally. Currently serving as a Technical Director at AECOM since 2024, they focus on planning and designing complex urban and regional water supply and wastewater infrastructure. Previously, Antony held the position of Principal Engineer at Engeny, where they led integrated water planning efforts, and spent over a decade at GHD as a Technical Director and Client Relationship Manager. Antony's career also includes roles at Atkins, South East Water, and MWH Global, along with a Master's Degree from Macquarie University and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Monash University.
