Avinash Babu

Avinash Babu is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in civil and mechanical engineering. Notably, Avinash served as the Senior Design Engineer and later as the Senior Principal Engineer at AECOM from November 2021 to January 2023, leading the UK Water (Civil) team and overseeing the delivery of design deliverables for various infrastructure projects. This role involved supervising a design team of ten, ensuring high-quality project outcomes within set budgets and timelines, and collaborating with AECOM UK offices. Prior to AECOM, Avinash worked as a Principal Engineer at SECON Private Limited in Bangalore, India, and held the position of Design Engineer at Larsen & Toubro, where responsibilities evolved into an Assistant Engineering Manager role. Avinash holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ms Engineering College.
