Ben Knight is a Chartered Civil Engineer and RPEQ with over 21 years of experience in the water and wastewater sectors. They are currently a Technical Director at AECOM, having previously served as Principal Engineer from 2005 to 2015, where they managed significant infrastructure projects including utility relocations for Brisbane's major developments. Prior to AECOM, Ben was Team Leader at SMEC, leading projects such as the Coombabah STP Stage 6 Upgrade and the Snowy 2.0 Pumped Hydropower Project. They began their career as an Undergraduate Engineer during the Golden Gate Bridge's seismic retrofit. Ben continues to pursue education at Queensland University of Technology.
