Bob Schmidt

Bob Schmidt is currently the AVP and Gulf Coast Transportation Leader at AECOM, where they manage a diverse transportation and infrastructure practice. With a career that began in the mail room at HNTB while attending LSU, Bob progressed to significant leadership roles, including Operations Director for Louisiana and Mississippi. Throughout their tenure, Bob has successfully developed major projects and programs, contributing approximately $200 million in fee sales. They also served as the 2017 state President of ACEC/Louisiana, advocating for consulting firms and engineers statewide. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from LSU.
