Caitlin Smith

Caitlin Smith is a Principal Environmental Scientist at AECOM with over 10 years of experience in the environmental services industry. Caitlin began their career as a geologist at a heavy mineral sand mine in South Africa before transitioning to environmental consulting. They have expertise in conducting environmental impact assessments, preparing environmental management plans, and undertaking water quality and ecological assessments. Caitlin earned a Master of Science in Hydrology, achieving Distinction, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Geography, along with an Honours degree in Geology, both from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.
