Cathy Owens

Cathy Owens has extensive experience in civil engineering, training, and project management. Owens began a career in engineering with a sponsored undergraduate program at the Environment Agency, completing three summer placements focused on capital flood alleviation projects. Following graduation from the University of Birmingham with an MEng in Civil Engineering, Owens engaged in various roles including Systems Trainer at Taylor Wimpey, where development and delivery of ERP training materials for House Sales were key responsibilities. Further international experience was gained through volunteer placements with Engineers Without Borders UK and Ecoplade in Ecuador. After working at Atkins in various civil engineering roles, Owens transitioned to positions of increasing responsibility at Cundall and is currently a Principal Civil Engineer at AECOM.
