Chris Carter

Chris Carter is an experienced professional in ESG and sustainability, currently serving as the Scope 3 Emissions Data Management and Analytics Lead at AECOM, where responsibilities include managing data collection and improving emissions data accuracy. As a member of the Executive Committee for the South African Chamber of Commerce UK, Chris contributes to ESG, Sustainability, and technology initiatives. With a background in consulting as Director at ESG & Sustainability Consulting, and roles at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, Grant Thornton UK LLP, Deutsche Bank, and RATP Dev, Chris has developed expertise in data management and responsible investment. Education includes a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford and undergraduate studies at Stellenbosch University in sustainable development and financial management. Additionally, Chris has project-led a personal residential development, showcasing strong project management and financial skills.
