Chris Cheung is a pioneering civil and geotechnical engineer currently serving as the Chief Resident Engineer at AECOM Asia. With a robust background in geotechnical innovation, they led the design and construction of Hong Kong’s first large-scale sustainable reclamation project using the Deep Cement Mixing method. Chris has also been instrumental in the development of Hong Kong’s inaugural eco-shoreline, enhancing coastal infrastructure with ecological features. They have over 21 years of extensive experience in geotechnical engineering across Asia and hold multiple degrees from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and The University of Hong Kong. Chris has received merit awards from the HKIE Grand Award for innovation and infrastructure.
